Spring 2019

Hello, people!

Spring is here, which means… it’s time to work in the garden.

I started some pepper seeds back in March, and I transplanted them into my garden last week:

There are 2-3 varieties of peppers in there.

I haven’t transplanted my tomato plants yet, as some of them are still quite small.

Sonia and I have also been working on the hide from the Highland steer. A post on that should be coming out next week.

Check out the new post on my family’s website for pictures of a baby robin!

I hope you are all having a wonderful spring! Have you started working on your garden yet? What is your favorite thing about spring?

Garden 2018 – Overview/Lambs update

Welcome back!

I had a great summer, but I was also quite busy and didn’t get to do a few more garden updates.

Anyways, I got a great harvest from my tomato and pepper plants. The two black cherry plants bore a lot of tomatoes. (I forgot to take pictures, sorry)

The brandy-wine tomatoes also grew very well. I got a few really big ones. Most brandy-wine tomatoes are between 9 – 12 oz. That’s about the size of the green one you see below. The red ones weigh about 19 oz, and the largest one I got this year was over 20 oz!
