Random Verses

I recently came upon this verse, and I just want to share it will you:

Today I saw this verse from a different psalm. It’s almost identical to the verse above, though here King David emphasizes the importance of waiting on God.

And well, I just have to put this one up here too, it’s one of my favorite verses. It reminds us that the God we serve is all powerful, “but with God, all things are possible.” (Matt. 19:26) And this Almighty God loves and cares for us, He even sent His own Son Jesus to die for our sins. Let us not forget that He is also a righteous and just God. He will punish sin and bring destruction upon the wicked. Look at what the following verse says:

“…and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.”

If Christ is not your Savior, be very afraid, for the Lord is just, He will punish those who refuse to repent. Think about this seriously. What has been keeping you from turning to God? Your pride? Fear of rejection by those you love? Fear of being laughed at? Or is it something else? God wants to forgive your sins. He is willing to forget about every single sin you did, every wrong thing. He wants YOU to be part of His family. If only you will believe!

If you have been saved by the blood of Jesus, rejoice! Praise and thank God for His wonderful gift of salvation. Be of good courage, the straight and narrow path is not an easy one to take. Fight the good fight, do not despair. There will be those who want to bring you down, but did not God promise that He will strengthen the hearts of those who trust in Him?

“… wait, I say, on the Lord.”
